Japan-India Partnership Forum (JIPF) is formally established in August 2007 in Japan as an
independent, Non-Profit Organisation. The JIPF seeks to establish "Japan-India Partnership" in
the fields of politics, industries and academics through closer Japan and India's coordination on
bilateral, regional and multilateral businesses, comprehensive economic engagement, greater
technological cooperation as well as working towards a quantum increase in cultural ties,
educational linkages and people-to-people contacts.
